| Here are two methods you can use to cool the water in your coffee brewer so you can check the bottom for the model number and date code: |
| Method A: |
| 1. |
Turn off the vacation switch on the left of the coffee brewer.

| 2. |
Unplug the coffee brewer.
|
| 3. |
Wait at least three hours for the water in the tank to cool.
|
| 4. |
Set the decanter and filter basket aside.
|
| 5. |
Unscrew the sprayhead that is located underneath where you removed the filter basket.
|
| 6. |
Take the coffee brewer over to the sink, and tilt it forward over the sink. Water will come out from the sprayhead area. Keep tilting until empty.

| 7. |
Write down the model number and six-digit date code located on the bottom of the coffee brewer.
|
| Method B: |
| 1. |
Turn off vacation switch on the left side of the coffee brewer.
|
| 2. |
Unplug the coffee brewer.
|
| 3. |
Pour a full decanter of fresh cold water into the decanter.
|
| 4. |
After the water stops flowing, discard the hot water in the decanter.
|
| 5. |
Repeat steps 3 and 4 one more time.
|
| 6. |
Set the decanter and filter basket aside.
|
| 7. |
Unscrew the sprayhead that is located underneath where you removed the filter basket.
|
| 8. |
Take the coffee brewer over to the sink, and tilt it forward over the sink. Water will come out from the sprayhead area. Keep tilting until empty.

Write down the model number and six-digit date code located on the bottom of the coffee brewer.
