A Passion for Support

Providing support is a mantra for Guido Dey to work, and play, by every single day.

Dey, who has been with BUNN for two-and-a-half years, is currently the company’s Espresso Support Manager. In his daily duties, Dey supports BUNN Sure Tamp equipment by organizing and coordinating technical training for customers and the sales staff, heading up customer service initiatives and providing support for BUNN service technicians based in the field.

A native of Germany, Dey has split time between his homeland and the United States during his 17-year career in the industry and is quite pleased with the philosophies of his current employer.

“I am impressed about how many people BUNN is putting in front of customers,” Dey said. “We don’t just provide equipment, we do a deep dive into what the customer needs and work on innovations around that.”

When he’s not supporting BUNN espresso equipment, Guido finds time to work with his other favorite piece of equipment, vintage German-made BMW automobiles.

Noting that his favorite model is the old 3 Series, Guido says that a perfect Saturday for him is being in his garage with some nice music, a BMW on jacks and “just doing something with it.”
